What each status means
Authorization Approved
Your ESTA has been approved. You're authorized to travel under the Visa Waiver Program. Keep your confirmation accessible during travel.
Pending Review
Your application is being processed and requires extra time. This is normal and not a problem. Check back periodically.
Travel Not Authorized
Your ESTA was not approved. You may need to apply for a visa through a U.S. embassy or consulate. Our support team can help you understand next steps.
Expired
Your ESTA has passed its validity period. You'll need to send a new application before your next U.S. trip.
What to do after approval
Save Your Confirmation
Download or print your ESTA approval. Airlines verify electronically, but a copy gives peace of mind.
Verify Your Details
Double-check that all information matches your passport — name spelling, passport number, etc.
Note Expiration Date
Typically valid for 2 years or until your passport expires. Mark it on your calendar.
Understand Entry Rules
An approved ESTA does not guarantee entry. Final decision is at the port of entry.
