Cancel Request

Need to cancel? Pause for one moment.

Cancellation is permanent. Let's make sure it's the right choice — and walk through it carefully if it is.

Step One — Pause

Before you cancel, ask yourself…

Is your ESTA close to expiring?

If it expires in a few months, cancelling may be unnecessary — it will lapse on its own.

Are your travel plans postponed, not cancelled?

Your ESTA allows multiple entries during its validity. Save it for a future trip.

Do you need to correct information?

You may be able to modify certain fields instead of cancelling. Check the Edit Application page first.

Have you spoken with our support team?

We can help you decide whether cancellation is the best option for your situation.

Step Two — Consider Alternatives

Three gentler options

01

Let It Expire

If you don't plan to travel soon, your ESTA will expire naturally after 2 years. No action needed.

02

Modify Instead

If you need to update travel details, contact info, or your U.S. address, a modification may be all you need.

03

Apply Fresh

If your passport or personal details have changed, sending a new application automatically replaces the old one.

If you do proceed — please know

Cancellation is permanent — a cancelled ESTA cannot be reactivated or reinstated

If you need to travel after cancellation, you must send a new application and pay associated fees

Cancellation does not automatically entitle you to a refund — please review our refund policy

If your ESTA is close to expiration, cancellation may not be necessary

Cancelling does not affect your ability to apply again in the future

Step Three — How to Cancel

Five careful steps

1

Visit the sign-in page and use the email and password from your original application.

2

Open Your Dashboard

Navigate to your dashboard where you can see all submitted applications and statuses.

3

Select the Application

Find the ESTA you wish to cancel and click to view its details. Look for the cancellation option.

4

Confirm Carefully

You'll be asked to confirm. Read it carefully — this action cannot be undone.

5

Receive Confirmation

After processing, you'll receive an email confirming cancellation. Save it for your records.

Or, contact our support team via email with your application reference number to request cancellation.

Refund considerations

Cancellation does not automatically qualify you for a refund. Eligibility depends on the stage of your application and when the request is made.

· Applications already sent to the authorization system may not be eligible for a full refund

· If your application is still in initial review before sending, a refund may be possible

· Rush or super-rush processing fees are generally non-refundable once expedited processing has begun
